Who We Are
This project brings together a distinguished team of storytellers, conservationists, and visual artists, each with a deep passion for the outdoors and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
Directed by acclaimed photographer Andy Anderson—known for his authentic visual narratives and iconic campaigns—the team includes producers Simon Roosevelt, a leading voice in wildlife policy and conservation, Conor Callahan, an internationally experienced documentarian driven to protect public lands, and Land Tawney, a seasoned environmental advocate and former leader of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. Executive Producer and writer Terry McDonell brings decades of experience across media platforms, while award-winning actor Michael Keaton lends his voice as narrator. Cinematographers Martin Wheeler and the Cavin Brothers contribute their unique visual styles and proven track records capturing real-life stories from ranches to remote wildlands.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER / WRITER
Media executive with experience across print, film and digital. Film and TV credits include “Miami Vice” and “China Beach.” Documentary work includes ”Plimption!” (executive producer), and Sport in America for HBO (creator, executive producer).
SIMON ROOSEVELT
PRODUCER
Hunter and conservationist focused on wildlife and lands policy, and involved in habitat and land restoration projects. A trustee and director of a number of conservation and environmental organizations, and founder of the Conservation Roundtable, a periodic gathering of NGO leaders and policymakers.

Michael Keaton is a celebrated American actor known for his versatility and magnetic screen presence. He rose to fame with iconic roles in Beetlejuice, Batman, and Birdman. Keaton’s decades-long career has earned critical acclaim and cemented his status as a Hollywood icon.

Numerous international documentary credits — motorcycle racing in the mountains in Italy to food stories on the coast in South Korea. Focused on the need to protect America’s public lands by sparking action, raising awareness, and inspiring a movement.

Former President/CEO of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers with extensive experience in the environmental services, grassroots organizing, and volunteer management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from The University of Montana and has a background in nonprofit organizations, natural resources, and business development.

Known for strong storytelling and cinematic approach capturing gauchos in Argentina, and documenting ranchers for Skinviva, and work with Yeti on the “Yeti Presents.” Currently working with Captains for Clean Water in Florida.
